The Amway Center is best known as the proud home of the Orlando Magic, Orlando’s cherished NBA team. Magic fans have flocked to the arena for years, bringing an electric atmosphere to each game. In addition to the Orlando Magic, the Amway Center also welcomes the Orlando Solar Bears, a prominent team in the ECHL, and the Orlando Predators, a contender in the National Arena League. The renowned wrestling promotion WWE chose this venue as the stage for its 2016 Royal Rumble pay-per-view event. The arena’s electrifying atmosphere provided the perfect backdrop for WWE’s thrilling entertainment, and fans were treated to an unforgettable spectacle.

In light of the 2020–21 ECHL and NBA seasons, WWE relocated to Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida. This transition marked a new chapter in the Amway Center’s history as it continued to evolve as a vital hub for sports and entertainment in Central Florida.
